“A man’s character is his fate” – Heraclitus of Ephesus (535 BC – 475 BC)
Quoting the book ……..
“The file on the Chi App contains information on the Omoluwabi philosophy and the Ezigbo mmadu concept. These concepts are universal truths, treasured by previous generations but now forgotten in the in the rush to make quick money and gain cheap recognition. Share the knowledge with others, that they may develop good character and become Omoluwabis.”
As written in the book, the message in the pdf files are not new things. Infact, being an Omoluwabi is an aspiration that many Yoruba parents encourage their children to achieve.
According to Wikipedia, character traits of an Omoluabi1 are demonstrated,
- in the way they speak (Oro Siso)
- in how they show respect (Iteriba)
- in their good will to all (Inu Rere)
- in their truthfulness (Otito)
- In their character (Iwa)
- In their acts of bravery (Akinkanju)
- In their hardwork (Ise)
- In their intelligence (Opolo Pipe)
Below are literature that give more insight into being an Omoluwabi or an Ezigbo Mmadu.

You are welcome to join me as we put together a working document for good character (Daraagwa) using these concepts that are indigenous to the Yoruba and Igbo tribes of southern Nigeria.
One hopes that the document will be culturally relevant and may serve as a moral compass for people of Southern Nigerian ancestry. …..something most can identify with and aspire towards.
Helpful comments are welcome below.

Good one, Modele. But this is like an intro. Where is the full work?
Thanks for your feedback.
The blog was created as a follow up to the book. The book talks about two files and the blog provides an opportunity for people to suggest possible content for the files.

You are right. This is an intro for File 1. It is still working-in-progress. It is open to contributions on the Omoluwabi philosophy and the Ezigbo Mmadu concept.
